I started attending Mr Jordan’s private lessons in my second year of sixth form as my Intermediate exam was nearing. Bearing in mind that I have struggled quite some times in Biology, I found an extremely helping hand in his lessons.

Mr. Mifsud taught me intermediate biology for a year. During this year I made huge improvements in the subject. He will also make every student feel welcome and have created a safe space for his students to ask any questions.

He also makes a lot of jokes which helps the students to remember and understand the material easier. He is very patient and accepts any extra work that you do and corrects it with very close attention and gives detailed feedback.

These lessons have helped me to not only learn biology but to also enjoy it. This is because Sir Jordan often interacts with the students asking them questions about the topic we are studying as well as taking the time to answer all our questions.

Mr. Jordan explains all the difficult topics in an understanding and friendly manner and makes sure his students understand them, not just memorize them. I started attending Jordan Mifsud’s private lessons mid December in my second year of Junior College, aiming to sit for my exam in May. Thanks to him, I obtained a grade C in intermediate biology.

The subject was giving me a very hard time before I started attending his lessons but thanks to his highly engaging, informative, and fun lessons, well structured notes, and excellent time management, I managed to raise my mark drastically.

Apart from explaining each topic in great detail, he makes time for tests and past paper sessions, which are extremely helpful as you can be prepared for what to expect in the exam.

I have been learning Advanced Biology by receiving recorded online lectures from Mr.Jordan Mifsud since October 2020 and it has been a great experience. He is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of effort into how he presents the material. During the one-to-one sessions which he insisted on doing occasionally, he was very patient and asked multiple questions so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. I highly recommend him.

Jordan takes proper time, with proper patience, to explain all the details of the subject as clearly as he can. He also shows a lot of interest in the subject himself which sometimes radiates. Overall a very great and friendly teacher.

Over the 2 year course, most of the main topics in the MATSEC Biology Syllabus were covered in good detail and broken down and explained very well. The lessons were interactive and engaging and notes were given, both from a pack and during classes, which were excellent and tailor made for the exam. I would have liked it if more of the syllabus was included in the course and pack notes, however, only a few topics were left out. That said, the tutor was always available for any query regarding any part of the subject up to the night of the exam and brief explanations on some of these topics were given during revision lessons at the end of the course.

I would highly recommend Jordan Mifsud as a tutor for anyone looking to study biology. He goes that extra mile to ensure you understand the subject and is very patient.

I highly recommend Biology Malta. Having had no previous knowledge in the subject and having been away from formal education for a few years, it was initially overwhelming and I wasn’t sure what to expect, however, as from the first lesson, Mr Mifsud made me feel comfortable and explained the subject in a way that is easily understood; through simple explanations and easy to understand notes that make students want to learn more and even grow to love the subject.
