My teaching style

My aim during the lessons, is for students to discover biology, as I socratically quiz them through, slowly scaffolding complex ideas through live-drawn diagrams, examples, analogies, animations, historical insights and simulated experiments.

Where? When? How much?

Lessons are in class in Birkirkara (see map below) or online. In class there is space for 6-8 students. Other students can join online, with the link provided by the tutor. Most group lessons are 2 hours long and the fee ranges between 15 to 20 euro per lesson.

Schedule for scholastic year 2024-2025

Monday 5.00 – 7.00pm: Year 9, 10 and 11 Biology O level group 1 (Exam May 2025 or 2026)

Tuesday 4.30 – 6.30pm: Year 9, 10 and 11 Biology O level group 2 (Exam May 2025 or 2026)

Wednesday 5.30pm – 7.30pm: Advanced Biology first year (Exam May 2026)

Thursdays 5.30pm – 7.30pm: Advanced Biology second year (Exam May 2025)

Saturday 3.00pm-5.00pm: Intermediate Biology (Exam May /  September 2025)
